GRANTS

  • European grants are available for students enrolled in Postgraduate Official Programs depending on the geographic origin of the student. Refer to the following links:
  • Aid is available to pay part of the expenses incurred by attending conferences, symposiums, seminars or other activities related to the degree course of study. Information.
  • Interest-free loans are available to finance initial costs (up to 6,000 euros) and expenses throughout the year (up to 800 euros/month). More information can be found at prestamos-renta-universidad. prestamos-renta-universidad.
  • Information about the interest-free loans from the Ministry of Science and Innovation is found in the Official State Release (BOE) from January 17. In this release the Order EC/4067/2007 is published from the State Release of December 13, modifying the Order ECI/1702/2007 of June 12, that regulates these loans. Repayment of loans begins once the student graduates and becomes employed.pdf.
  • The Official State Release (BOE) on November 17 announced the University Faculty Training (FPU) Grants for students completing their postgraduate program, Master's degree and Doctoral Dissertation.   • The deadline to turn in a grant application from the Xunta (autonomous Galician government) for postgraduate studies is on September 15. The application submission is required if seeking a scholarship at the University of Lugo.
  • The MEC offers an assistance program for student mobility in an Official Master's degree program for the 2007-08 academic year. Deadline. Printable application.
  • Refer to the Vice Chancellor for Studies and the European Convergence website where there is information on scholarships for postgraduate studies. .
  • Bilateral agreements are in place withÉcole Central de Paris and with Universitá di Roma I "La Sapienza" in the SÓCRATES / ERASMUS program, for student mobility in the 2007/2008 academic year. For more information, contact the coordinators of the Master's Degree Program.
  • A notice for Erasmus students for the 2008-09 academic year was published on February 6, 2008. The basis of the invitation, the list of openings by centers and the application form are found on the Office of International Relations webpage at: http://www.uvigo.es/ori. The deadline for application submission is February 26.
